This post should be posted about in mid-april, but I’ve not posted anything since october 2019, so I thought it was a good idea to write this.
First of all, I’ve been working as an Android developer for the past 5 months. I still have a lot to learn, because Android development is not as trivial as it might seem to be, but I like it. It’s been a challenge, but I’m learning a lot about how to develop an application properly, and I like it.
Also, I’m starting to make my own Android base architecture to make applications (in Kotlin). I’m thinking on writting a series of blog posts about this, because it’s something I really loved to learn and I’m sure it’s going to help me even for debugging any bug I encounter! The source code of this will be open when I consider it’s worth opening it, or maybe I’ll do it even it’s being done. I don’t know, but if you want to stay tuned about this, look at the repo at https://git.sr.ht/~captainepoch/AndroidMVVM.
I’m also starting another project which I hope it ends someday. It’s a web application done in flask. It’s a simple task manager. Why? Because I didn’t find any that fits my needs, or at least, what I think a task manager should be. Don’t get me wrong, something like todo.sr.ht would do it, but not for my personal tasks, so I hope to release a first version in a couple of months.
On the other hand, I’m making another project, this is not going to be open source for a series of private reasons, but I hope to learn a lot from it too.
And that’s it! I don’t have time to get bored in this cuarantine (or even in a normal life), so… I hope to get back to writing more soon!
